Fingerprint recognition
We are proud to announce the fingerprint recognition module for use with our membership system. After initially registering their fingerprint with the system, a customer will simply place their finger onto the reader each time they visit and will be validated against the database, recording an attandance if required. This option removes the need for membership cards and prevents fraudulent access.
It requires a supported fingerprint scanner ( we can provide ) and Windows XP with .net framework.
Expected release date: August 2007
Remote access
We are pleased to announce Web Visits; this application allows visit recording and / or access control to operate across a low bandwidth connection such as a broadband connection, through the use of Web Services. This enables customers with multiple sites and a central membership database to validate members and record visits in real time.
The application is designed for Windows XP and the .Net framework, and requires IIS5 or above.
For access control, equipment from Nortech Control Systems is required.
